Hi I have a large list of items removed from my 2400 mile 1098 from a full 70mm system to short pazzos, Black Gilles, a black top yolk from an R, carbon single seat cover, carbon V, DP race body work etc. I have a set of genuine under tank infills. What sort of figure did you have in mind? I can email you pictures later this week as I am away Allan
Well I am presuming he's on about replacing the plastic bits by your knees under the tank with carbon but it could be the fairing infill panels just under your hands
Yup the ones by your legs under the tank, side infills apparently, the ones with tester thingy me bob written on them
They are indeed a bugger to fit, thought I was going to snap it at one stage and I scratched the tank a bit ,luckily it's were the tank protector is going when it turns up
They are lovely bits of kit. I'd love a pair myself, but for someone who swaps fairings quite a bit they're just not practical.
I'm planning on getting these too but have never seen any on eBay. What are they listing them as? Side panels? Tank panels? They look great! I'm not ready to buy yet but these pics have confirmed that I am now officially "saving up" for them.
Genuine Ducati ones are like hens teeth to get....and the embossed genuine Ducati ones even more so. But you can get third party ones on fleabay from 135 quid up to 200 n odd. They're always listed.....
Yip I've found that so far bits embossed ones I'd want (typical eh?) and I've seen loads of cheaper ones on eBay but kit DP ones. I got a price from Ducati Glasgow for some, so guess that's the way to go when the time comes.
Touched lucky to get these tbh,as I said in the first post,I just missed out on a set on eBay which went for £285 as opposed to £450 from Ducati (I bid £280) ,but then a job lot of dp carbon off a 1098 came up on eBay and I politely asked if they never got sold could I make him an offer for the infills, and he accepted,oh and a dp carbon key surround as well all for less than my offer in the first set on eBay it's nice to treat yourself once in a while
Aye, I've been half looking on eBay etc but will now look a bit harder since they seem to be tough to find. That's the right sort of price to be paying too I'd say.
