848 Weight Loss Continues - How Much This Time...?

  1. So...

    2010 848 recently ditched 2.6kg by going to a lithium battery.
    Tonight we removed standard rear sub-frame and popped in a Alloy unit.
    Anyone care to guess the weight saved this time
    (much more exciting than watching MotD)

  6. original sub frame 3.08 kg
    new one 1.53kg...

    Heat shield got binned when we put on race fairing... :)

    All in all, the bike's lost about 9lbs over the winter; which is about the same as I have put on !

  7. Have you tried using Helium in your tyres instead of air?
    Massive weight saving so I am told.:Woot:
