I've always loved the look of the 851 single seaters. After a few years of patiently gathering the components I wanted to build an 851 replica, I've decided to sacrifice that project in order to free the space, both in my garage and where it lives, in my head, rent free. I have a couple of other interesting projects to complete and very little garage space available. What ST2 frame is visible, once the fairings are on, is visually almost identical to the 851, so that is the starting point. The components I am offering are as follow: ST2 frame with V5 853cc Fast By Ferracci equipped 748 motor (Moto Rapido motor built by Steve Hillary - who now owns RedMax Speedshop) Wheels Sprockets Adjustable Forks Yokes & stem 851 Aluminium tank (has some repairable damage but is the real thing!) 851 Carbon Fibre fairing with screen Brand new unpainted Ricambi Weiss 851 fibreglass seat unit SilMotor Carbon Fibre cans Ali swing arm Carbon Fibre front mudguard I'm offering the whole parcel for £1500.00, which is significantly less than it has cost me and if you were to find and price these parts now, its begins to look like a steal, as such, I'm not prepared to budge on the price I considered two ways to go with this; buy a cheap ST2 for the missing bits and sell the leftovers, or search for the missing parts which are easily available - (with rough eBay estimates in brackets): Spindles for wheels & swing arm (£15 - £30 each) Loom (£50) ECU (£150 - £200) Throttle bodies (£50 - £150) Clocks (£125) Nuts n bolts (?) Master cylinders, levers, switchgear, footrests (£250) So, if you're looking for something to keep you in the garage over the winter or next next couple of lockdowns, or if you have an ST2 but would prefer an '851', this could be your lucky day...!
