For Sale 888 Superbike 94-95 & Corsa 926 94-97 Cast Iron Discs

Discussion in 'Parts, Accessories & Clothing For Sale' started by Borgo Panigale, Feb 24, 2021.

  1. I bought these discs many years ago for a project bike that was going to use a set of Marvic Mags I'd bought at Assen, but I sold the wheels before I got to use them. These cast iron discs were made by Braking, they're stamped STX03

The STX03 were made specifically* for the 94/95 888 Superbike and the 926cc, as per confirmation email from Braking's parent Co., Sunstar, today:

I have measured these discs at 5.15mm each, they have plenty of service life left. The is no rattle audible, or movement discernible by hand and they feel absolutely solid. They have the 80mm hub with bolt centres at 100mm

    £300 + p&p

    * I did ask if they fitted anything else, but they said that it was only those two models that appeared in their application charts

  2. Thanks for thinking of @Jon916 , but I'm pretty sure he's after the std 916 size discs, not the large centre flavour.

  3. Just to clarify, I believe the discs to be for the 926 Corsa model, not the road going 916.

  4. Any clue if they would fit an early 851? I will have a measure up but interested, if they're compatible.

It's this front end with the black Brembo / M1R set up.

  5. Sadly, I don't think they will be because of the large centre on these discs and the very deep offset visible on yours. Shame..

    • Thanks Thanks x 1

  7. Not sure about this 926cc 916 they speak of....the 926 was a a 851/888 64mm crank with 96mm bore. 916 66mm crank + 96mm bore = 955cc. Weird....

  8. Yes, I found that confusing and wondered whether they dressed the race 888/926 in 916 bodywork later on in its racing career.. if it was actually racing, or being campaigned, between 94 & 97?

Now edited the chain to remove confusing references to 916

  9. Are the discs still available?

  10. Yes, I still have them.

  11. There narrow track discs but i may beo able to swap the disc rota and keep the carriers. How much do you want?

  12. Let me know when it’s done and I’ll close the thread :)

  13. Will do

    Thanks

  14. Discs still available.

They weren’t the Corsa version our friend was hoping for.

  15. Bump!

  16. What offset are these? I've just acquired a pair of AP racing narrow track discs with the same fittment.
My reference catalogues don't show it for any model. It does seem that Marvic used this fitment for their race wheels.

  17. Good evening @Dunc996

Apologies for the delay in replying; measuring the offset, I make it 10mm.

    Hope that helps
