Can anyone tell me if the 899/1199 Termi slip ons fit the 959 with standard headers, using the Termi 959 “Y” adaptor which is available from Conquest Racing? https://conquestracingltd.com/produ...899-1199-panigale-titanium-slip-on-silencers/ https://conquestracingltd.com/produ...ucati-959-panigale-y-adapter-fits-d155102cpt/ My guess is yes, but would be nice to know before I buy, or does anyone have the “Y” adaptor they would sell me??
Hopefully someone can tell you for certain but my 959 had underslungs from a 1299 on it as IIRC the older bikes pipes weren’t compatible.
I had murders getting the right one when i bought some underslungs off someone off here for my old 899, so i will politely bow out of this one. (My gut instinct tells me you need a different one though, especially looking at the two images they're not the same)
Your local friendly ducati dealer should be able to tell you, and might not even charge you anything for the privilidge
Thanks guys. I know 899 and 959 are different diameter headers, 959 being larger. Plus 899 have a 3 bolt flange connection and being slightly shorter to accommodate the exhaust valve as opposed to the 959 having a clamp connection and being slightly longer as it has no exhaust valve in that area. I have emailed Conquest but not had a reply yet… Next in line I suppose is the very friendly Craig at Moto Rapido. I’m a fabricator welder, so if I have to make one fit I can do it, but would rather an easy life of bolting one straight on of course!
They will fit but you need a complete set from either bike, as others have mentioned, the 959 uses 5mm bigger pipes
Ok, done a bit of digging… That Termi “Y” adaptor is available in 2 versions, one to fit 899/1199(D155Y) and one to fit 959/1299(D155Y2). These do not fit the older Termi slip ons(rear exit underslungs)sold for the 899/1199 in the link of my first post, they were sold with a different “Y” adaptor and both no longer available. The currently available front exit underslung Termis are the only silencers compatible with both of the “Y” adapters I’ve listed above. Thanks for all your reply’s.
