Has anyone seen this happen to a dash. Looks likes it's almost got a blob of water on it, although it hasn't. Seems to be on the actual dash itself as opposed to the persoex covering.
I seem to remember seeing something similar on an auto dipping rear view mirror. The lcd has leaked a bit and the unit had subsequently failed. This looks similar to me. Sorry.
If it's still under warranty, contact your dealer with an email and a few pics outlying what's happening
No warranty unfortunately. I should say, the dash still works perfectly as expected. Not sure if I should just keep an eye on it until something changes.
Have the same on mine in almost the exact same spot. Have the DP clear screen fitted so assumed it had done it’s thing and melted the dash a bit. Dash still works fine. Kicked myself as knew about the issue and had forgot to cover the dash up on that occasion. As Adam said, be interesting to know if you also have the same screen fitted.
I'm not sure what the screen is, but it is aftermarket, which the previous owner fitted. It's got a slight tint to it but looks to be a similar shape to the original.
