Hi all Bought a 2014 899 about 4 weeks ago It’s done 3456 miles, just taken the front wheel off to check pads and give a good clean and noticed the discs any ideas of what’s caused this? Waiting for the dealer to reply to my email
The pitting is caused by damp on the pads when the bike has been laid up. It looks bad but should have no effect on braking.
No harm in asking. You should point it and see what they are prepared to do about it. The discs don't look that good for a mere 3.5K miles.
