  1. Well, as much as I love my 899, ive become fed up with parking up and due to the Ducati's popularity, returning to find another red one parked next to it. The time for a colour enhancement is here. I resisted for a year and a half but its now just a must. Inspired by this years motogp scheme ive began the job. Main difference will be that I have a fetish for luminous yellow and that unlike the race bike, mine will be gloss finish not matt. Have finished the seat cowl already and will continue from front to back.

  3. Thanks, finished up the rest of the seat unit today and refitted it all. Next week will be cracking on with the petrol tank. The original red looks so much better with laquer on it!

so I assume your a painter by trade or is it more of a hobby that you appear to be good at or is some one else undertaking the paint work and prep

  7. No, right first time, painter for 20years or so now . Worked in all areas, bikes, cars and boats. Now working in aviation but wuen I do the company a favour or two they let me loose on my own projects. Sprayed my girlfriends mito last month. People kept passing by mine to look at hers haha!

  15. Well, one more pic to show todays progress. The graphics I have, while great quality were packaged in such away that theu were creased here and there. Im completely anal when it comes to my paint jobs so all in they took an extra two hrs to get just right. Will clearcoat them tomorrow.
