Hi, new to the forum. Had my white 899 just over 1 year and done a few mods: Nitron R3 rear shock Single seat Continental Raceattack Endurance tyres Suspension set up by TW Suspension in Preston Termis Brembo RC front brake pads SBS Carbon tech rear pads 1 tooth up on rear sprocket (BIGGEST performance upgrade for road and track) Have ridden my 899 since new, and never in wet! Done a few trackways at Angelsey and Donington and love the bike, although i like to modify the important bits. Got to try out new shock and brake pad upgrades in August on track, but the best mod is the rear sprocket, much better out of corners and gets through the gears much faster and can just nip 6th on the back straight at Donny....so fast enough top end.
Welcome, would be great to see some pics? What does the Notton look like on the bike? Is it a big upgrade for road riding?
The difference is noticeable on road as its much smoother damped, and as the spring rate is also made for my weight it responds much better. It actually feels softer yet more under control, but its the track that i hope it gives more feedback.
