I've had my 2014 899 about a week and have noticed an oil leak on the left hand side, checked the sump nut, that's dry with no fresh oil on it any ideas where the oil leak is coming from ? The bike has just been delivered from a UK dealer to my place in Prague, so I can't go back to them to get it sorted..
Clean it up and assess after a ride. Make sure it's completely clean and dry before hand. Doesn't look like anything serious judging by that picture so could be residue.
I used to have an 899 which did the same. Same place on the bike and only after a service. Cured itself after a few ride outs. I used to come back and put a piece of white paper underneath just to make sure it has gone. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
It's just been serviced, I've cleaned that area up and all dry now, no leaking, one chap said it could be the gasket sealent that's leaking..
