  1. Hi All

Im looking to get a new chain and sprocket for the 899 and wondered what everyone has went with. I want it to look good but also function well.
Any pics would be great, thanks.

  6. Those renthal sprockets look the nuts!

  7. In what way? Serious question btw.

  8. My standard one looked like it had been raised from the titanic after about 2 weeks of ownership.

And it had never seen the wet!

  9. So just an aesthetic thing? I just make sure I look after it (spray wax it) every three or four weeks. Takes all of two minutes.

  10. I did exactly that mate but it seemed to make no difference on mine! My dealer admitted they're naff and they get a lot of complaints about them.

Does make you wonder that if the metal is that shit, how good is the chain in general ?

  11. To be honest I've not had a problem and the only time my chains have looked rusty is when I've not been bothered to spray it for months after I've ridden in wet conditions. So it's just been down to me.

  12. Renthal ones are only about £30, look lovely, are lighter, and you can add a tooth or two to give it a bit more of a kick in the pants.

  13. Think the renthals look good too, possibly with a good gold and black chain

  14. Remember they don't last anything like as long as the heavy steel ones.

  15. Got a DID 520 ERV3 and talon sprocket, nice bit of kit

  16. Supersprox is the answer to that [emoji106]
