Somewhat embarrassed to admit this is my first post! Been a member for a while now - but have not contributed. As I said, embarrassed, but wanted to offer it for sale on here first. Here goes - my 899 is being put up for sale. Red. 14 plate. Mot Just done - no advisories as you would expect. FDSH with last one done earlier this year at Moto Rapido. As you’ll see, wheels are gold (previous owner), Ohlins and other stickers also . 9350 miles at the moment . Books/ paperwork and keys present. £8600 Chatting to a bike sales chap of many years standing yesterday, he suggested £8800 for private sale -but also commented on tyres. Front is Supercorsa SC1, scrubbed in by one far more talented and brave than I. Rear tyre is standard road Supercorsa , absolutely fine, but squaring off. Whilst I’m fine with tyres as they are, I realise that others may not be, hence £200 towards them. Hopefully pics are on here, and will help should anyone be interested? Thanks for looking
They look so much better with gold wheels. You mention ohlins, would be worth listing any extras, how long you’ve had it, how many owners etc. Glws
Thanks for the replies. I’ve had the 899 for two years, and am the second owner. The seat hump came with the bike, as did the pegs (have OE also). I’ve fitted Optimate charge lead. Just going out on zzr, which is also for sale...
Tbh, I’m easy either way - other Dukes I’ve owned all had black wheels Goldies do help it stand out though!
