Hi just going to buy a set of these for my MK1 900 SL !:biggrin: Anyone have any clues to the best main jet size to order for my set up, or what are you running with your set up. My set up Arias high comp pistons Lightened flywheel Full Skorpion (Akrapovic) spaghetti exhaust system Mini Dyna coils , Taylor HT leads. Thanks Simon
If you buy from Mike at Power Barn (my recommendation) or Chris at CA Cycleworks (also a good lad) if you tell them your set up they will supply all jetted up to suit and include a handful of jets for messing about with. (But no, cant remember what is actually in mine. And it hasn't run yet anyway so could be pants)
Funny I contacted CA cycleworks and got a reply that they couldnt recomend any non std jetting, I will go with Mike at power barn.
I got my FCRs from Mike at Power Barn, very helpful and I'm told the jetting should be good. That said I've not run the bike yet and I've done other things that may affect jetting requirements so wouldn't be surprised if some fettling was required. He did however give me the best deal I could find at the time. If you're looking for a UK supplier BR special tuning Motorcycle Performance & Motorsport Parts are also very helpful.
