Does anyone know who can supply a Mikuni carb overhaul kit and what is included please, also what jets to use with termi's and drilled air box
Allens Performance, although you will possibly find the Yamaha TDM850 kits will fit. Depending on what you already have fitted, IE is it a Dynojet kit............you might want to buy what you need singly rather than a kit. OEM Standard Mikuni main jet should be 140, but if you have a DJ kit in there, you may expect to find a 150. NB! Mikuni jet sizes do not tally with DJ jet sizes........OEM Mikinis have a tiny square logo stamped on them as well as the size. DJ jets only have the size.....same applies to the needles although DJ don't even have the size. The DJ needles are easily recognisable as are the springs if you post a decent pic of them, but there are several threads on this forum that relate to the issue. Somewhere in my PC is the parts list for the carbs, but at the moment I can't find it..in the meantime, the OEM spec is below. AL
andymaz, You need to use these two diagrams in conjunction with the link to Allens. The diagram is for a Yamaha (same carby I am sure most people will confirm) you can get an idea of the description and cross check the part number is right with the Allens link. I also found some Viton seals at Litetek but they are in Thialand. The Guy was Aussie no problem to deal with but I have not fitted the parts yet so can't say if they were any good or not but check out the site some nice pictures.
