900 Ss Ie Tyres Part Deux

Discussion in 'Supersport (1974-2007)' started by Duck944, Jun 18, 2016.

  1. As per the title, I've had a pair of tyres fitted, 180 x 55 x17, and 120 x 70 x 17,
and I'm sure that the bike will benefit from them greatly.
As I got the bike without an owners handbook I haven't a clue as to what the recommended pressures should be, and was hoping that someone will have an answer.
Thanks in advance for your wisdom.

  2. Hi,
I run 36 rear, 32 front solo rider about 13 stone kitted up. I always maintain 4 psi difference front to rear.

  3. Hi Neil,
    Thanks for the reply.

  4. Mark, I run 29 - 31psi in my front (120 x 70) and 32 - 34psi for the rear (160 x 60)...........the lower pressures when the weather is cold.

Although I have lost 3 stone in weight, I still have the bike set-up for 12.5 stone.

  6. First off,
An apology to everyone, for me hijacking this thread, but needs must.
    Al,
I sincerely hope that you didn't feel ignored ( ref :_your previous posts )
I did reply to you within one of my replies, but I think that due to the dumb ass nature of my setting out within the same, it could easily be overlooked.
Anyhow hopefully I've worked it out.
