A good friend has been offered a barn find 900 SS. He’s pretty sure that it’s early 90s but I would like to home in on the actual year of manufacture. I’m sure there’s many of you guys that will be able to give chapter and verse on this subject any information will be gratefully received. Many thanks.

I have had a '93 and 2 x '94s 91 & 92 white frame, wheels and graphics. Never wanted one of those - too much cleaning of the white bits required. 93 Black wheels, gold frame and graphics, red mirrors. 94 Gold wheels, frame & graphics, black mirrors The 2nd 94 was also an M - reg but it had the addition of an oil temp gauge on the instruments.
Only from memory, the first of the "belt" V2 were 1989/1990 which were visually different to the later belted bikes, these had twin choke Webers (same as early Paso) instead of the Mikunis found on the whole range of later bikes.
