Has anyone come across these in stainless steel. Having polished the pipes and replaced the studs and nuts with stainless these remain OE. Ditto for the semicircular collets as these were quit rusty.
I had some made for my M900 in Aluminium because I didn't like the original rusty ones, but did still need to use the steel collets once I'd cleaned them up. I took them off to use on my M1000 but discovered the later bike had captive Flanges rather than loose flanges and Collets. https://www.ducatiforum.co.uk/threads/billet-exhaust-flanges-ss-monster-etc.88605/ According to the Stein Dinse website they would fit your 900SSie, but I don't know for sure.
if there's one bit on a Duc where it seems the design engineers just gave it to a 17 year old (reluctantly) on a work placement these clamps are it.. They then subcontracted them to a Russian tractor factory to end up with two ugly rough finished lumps fitted as OE. used to be more aftermarket alternatives when the models were 'current' but not sure who makes any now.
I had some alloy, finned ones on my Monster. I got them from a German supplier and they looked so much better than the cruddy pig-iron OEM parts. Don't have them anymore as I swapped the exhaust for one with springs holding it on and sold them on.
There were two suppliers in USA and a couple in Germany but last time I checked a year or so ago they were all NLA. They all need min batch sizes to produce and with low demand the decision gets harder with each batch! Mark Groombridge in NZ had some tasty billet ones but you would have to check availability. Postage and all the import charges are also things to consider.
The rearsets were by 'style and performance' in Italy (though I bought them from 'Red Racing' in Italy) however, as with the exhaust clamps I'm not using them anymore and now have something else fitted. As for the exhaust parts, I got them from 'Ricambi-weiss' in Germany several years ago but I can't see them on their website now.
