For Sale a pair of Carbon Exhaust cans which were used on my 900SS. In very good overall condition. Not sure of the make but they sound good I bought these and some link pipes to fit to the standard downpipes. I then made some basic brackets to hang them from as shown in the pics. Included are the cans, link pipes, stainless clips for the link pipes, hanging bands and the basic brackets. Cans are 450mm long by approx 110mm dia. They weight approx 1.7kg each. They also have removable baffles. Images show the cans and bits and how they looked on the bike. Price: £250 including delivery to uk mainland.
Ian.i still can't believe you sold it with only 13,382 miles on the speedometer (the MOT is out now),the rear carbon number plate holder looks the part.I'd just missed out out on a pair of Termignoni slip ons for £700 plus post from Demark, but they were burnt on the inside so Not good long term. I bet you miss it.?
I do and I don't, I sold it to get the 851 and to aid with the house move and the 250 Desmo / 350 Desmo projects...
I guess that's what we all do in life when the funds are tight in life.Anyway how do they compare with each other on the road.
The 851 has a bit more of a "special" feeling and is a beautifully balanced bike. It's not as torquey as the 900SL was at the bottom end but has more grunt than the 748 (which was the other one I sold).
I'm looking for a triple eight hot version next but i might be same time finding the right one & price tag.
