900ss Ignition Coils

I fitted some Dynatek DC3-2, Dynatek 8mm Suppression Plug Wire Set DW-800 and new OEM caps, no modification required, apart from changing out 2 terminal ends, which are supplied in the kit. Be sure to fit OEM plugs, as they are suppressed as well. Appears to be good quality.

More or less the same price I recall.

 

I have a spare set of cycleworks coils which are unused.

 

None?! I think its too small to have any real effect

 

Aren't the 3 ohm ones supposed to run hotter? - need to be out in the airstream.

 

Hi Desmoquattro, those unused coils are they to fit a 900SS 2V carbed bike? If so are they for sale?

 

I was mistaken, I hubted them out as someone else was interested. They have been used but are in excellent condition. I would be looking for £90 ono inc postage

Hi again Desmoquattro sounds fair enough to me. I wont even risk offending you with haggling - been looking for a set so I'll take them off your hands at you asking price. Looks like they come with leads and new plugs. Do they come with the original packaging and instructions for fitting?

 

bargain if all parts in pic included - was hovering (still am) on old style green moulded versions for £120 the pair.

Anyone used the 3 ohm Dynatek coils? if so any good and what are the HT leads of choice? Taylors?

 

I'm using the 3 ohm Dynas. Never a problem. HT leads are Taylors. Yellow ones !!
