I noticed an o-ring , as seen here https://www.bike-parts-ducati.com/d...port/1992/900_SS/900-SS/CLUTCH/496/2302/0/496 which I dont have on my 900ss engine. Its shown as going with the ducati termed 'pushrod' ( I.E. end piece which fits into the pressure plate bearing, not the actual 'cluth control rod', which we in Britain called te pushrod). It's definately not the clutch cover to crankcase o-ring which is listed on another diagram, with another part number. An o ring in this place seems to me to be useless and an interference with clutch actuation. Do you have one one, and is it useful? Is the diagram incorrect? Cheers, John
John, There's no o ring on my bike on the push rod at the clutch pressure plate end. Theres 2 o rings at the other end near the slave. These are part 30 inthe diagram. They go around the grooves in the pushrod. Also, I've not seen one on the numerous air cooled 2 valves I've had. However, that doesn't mean on some bikes there wasn't one
I think that o ring is the one inside the “mushroom” I don’t know what it’s purpose is as I have a mushroom with no provision to fit an o ring in.
