I gone and got my first Ducati ! A 7200 mile white frame half faired model, very tidy, that has been sitting around for many years. A mate bought it two years ago, changed the belts and gave it a wash, but didn't ride it. He offered it to me at 'mates rates', so I snapped his hand off and now it's in my garage. The paintwork is mainly good, but each panel has a mark on it of some type, so I've decided on a full respray to restore it to full glory. Because it is two years since the belts were done, I'm planning on replacing them even though/because it hasn't been used at all. The question is - where should I get the belts? I'm a competent home spannerer so the job itself doesn't faze me, but with being new to the brand (I've owned a lot of things but not a Ducati) I'm not well up on suppliers and if I should go OEM or aftermarket. Your advice will be greatly appreciated. Cheers
