For Sale, 1996 Ducati Biposto. I have owned this bike for 16 years, only ridden it a few hundred miles a year, due to working away from home so often. I put the bike on a SORN 4 years ago due to health reasons. The bike was started up every couple of weeks during this period of time. Hence mileage 12385. The bike has always been serviced by a Ducati trained mechanic at a Ducati dealership and service centre. It has not been tinkered with by untrained hands. Had a Full service done including belts all fluids etc only a couple of months ago + MOT. I have lots of paperwork, the previous MOT certs, service receipts & service books etc. The bike has always been kept indoors (in my house, it’s own room) I have always and still love this bike and I am under absolutely no pressure to sell it, but I can not ride it anymore so it makes sense to let it go. I am asking £11000 for the bike and will not accept any offers below. The bike is just south of Colchester Essex. NOTE: This bike is not and has not been for sale anywhere else at the moment, other than this Forum.
Could be a VERY long wait with no offers. Market is on the slide and that price is top, top dollar imho. Delicious bike though all the same.
Thanks for comments, Yep not the best time of the year to sell a bike If nobody’s interested at the moment I’ll keep it for another year. One sold 3 months ago at a Motorcycle dealership in Colchester Essex, same year but with more miles on the clock and had been done up, for exactly £11000. This is a good honest unmolested original bike + paperwork to back it up.
Bike looks great no doubt. Timing is the issue. Winter plus financial squeeze. You would have more chance of reaching your target figure by advertising to a wider audience to be honest. Whatever anyone else thinks it’s your bike and your sale. It only takes one interested buyer and you might get lucky. But that could take some time. GLWS.

Well worth the asking price considering how straight and unmolested it is. In 5 years it will look cheap. GLWS.
