  1. 24F347A8-E841-47B9-9983-92675FAFC46B.jpeg I’m trying to find out what all the markings/stamping are referring to on the 916 cylinder head I know it’s 93 but what are the others 1/11 the (M) the wee logo below the M And the S*A any help would be great.

  2. S = scarico (exhaust)
    A = assunzione (intake)

    not sure on the rest mate

  3. Thanks pete433 that’s a good start.

  4. No worries. I’ve not seen that logo on mine, I’ve got a ‘96, but I’ve got the M on mine, be interesting to know what it means :upyeah:

  5. Here’s a 92 head with a different logo CC07070B-5AEF-4E51-A1F8-4740ABE8D05B.png

  6. hopefully my bump will generate more wisdom, but only generalising on previous practice, not just Ducati, the "L" over the "11" is probably related to batch :- i.e. more precisely when created apart from just the year and the "W" is probably to do with combustion chamber configuration, e.g.:- compression ratio/valve sizes.

  7. Thanks Chris there’s quite a difference in the 92and 93 stamping.
