  1. Hi all,

    I am after a bit of advice on a couple of questions.

    I have a 1997 916 BP. The bike is fitted with the standard OEM metal exhaust. It sems to me to be running very rich. I have checked the EPROM and it is stated as 916 -062-. Looking around it seems to me that this might not be the correct EPROM for my exhaust system but it is a bit unclear. I suspect that this chip should be equipped with a carbon fibre exhaust but I am unsure.

    Does anyone know what the correct configuration of exhaust / air filter with this EPROM should be?

    Secondily with this chip can I fit a 45 mm carbon exhaust slipon or would I need to get a different chip to match it.

    Many thanks for any help / advice.

    Phil

  2. Chris,

    The 062 is listed as 95/98 916 Bip/Senna with open silencers, for standard silencers you need an 061 EPROM

  3. OK! That explains a lot I think. Thanks very much for the reply. Are the open silencers termignoni race exahausts?

  4. Yep, Termis or any other 'open' silencer ie straight through with no baffling.

  5. Indeed it is.

    This one was the original Ducati supplied with the 45mm Termi kit included with a Senna;

    Worked fine on '98 916 with both 45 and 50mm Termis

  6. Thanks for the reply. I am looking now for a set of 45 mm termi pipes. Found some on Ebay but they are from Italy and I am not sure how much import duty I will have to pay.
