  1. Landed by my front door this morning. The article is a good read and well up to the standard you'd expect from the team at PS :upyeah:

  2. hmmm..this seems like a very interesting article, but ive never heard of that mag..is it widely available?

  3. Practical sportsbike? Oxymoron surely?

  4. I get my copy from tesco (think of the points!!) - so must be widely available I'd have thought. Had an article on shimming the Ducati bottom end last month also.

  5. Yep its made by Bauer who make Bike, RiDE, Classic Bike etc and its specialises on the sportsbikes from the 70s, 80s and 90s. Its a good read FR :upyeah:

  6. Good mag, I pick it up whenever I come across it.

  7. I think its a good read.Makes you wish you had kept all those old nails you used to have, some of the prices that they go for is mad.

  8. get mine posted to me , even got a set of allen keys free with it

  9. Your right there Keith, some bikes going for silly money, got themag today great read on the 916, doing mine at the moment so some good tips and info.

  10. ive seen the prices of 916's recently and theyre going for big money..theres a nice bip online for £6k with a few extras (single seat and a coupe of bits of carbon) and 19k on the clock...mines done 14k and is 2 owners, full history, better nick and a rarer model (916S), mag wheels, ohlins blah blah...i'd probably sell an organ before i sold the old gal though..based on what ive seen i'd be justified in asking above £6k.

  11. I went to buy it today but could not see it :-(
ill have another look tomorrow :)

  12. Had a look today and it's the same guy that did the online article, which I think a link was posted here some time ago.

From what I read there were a whole load of errors made in his restoration including when he cut a recess into the rear brake bolt to hold an o-ring, and then wondered why the bolt sheared two pages later...
