  1. A good friend of mine has genuinely asked me to try and glean some information regarding the value of his bike, I must state this bike is not for sale nor does it get used lol. Its a 916sp 1994 bike with 4800 miles and was purchased new by him . Last time I saw the cover of it was over 2 years ago and lets just say its immaculate.
I no nothing about these bikes but do no in 1994 it was over 15k (ouch) .
7 8 9 K ? No idea and yes its what someone is willing to pay as an individual but an idea from someone in the no will at least ease his curiosity :) and mine :)

  2. Sorry guys just seen another 2 post on this page with the information we may need. It would seem anywhere from 7-10k :upyeah:

  3. There weren't any 1994 SP's I don't think. 1995 was the first model year, but the bike may have been manufactured in 2014 as a 2015 MY bike?

  4. It's a Ducati not a Delorean :D

  5. So it can't go back to 1994 then :p

  6. If he has no intention of selling said bike, why does he need to know market value?

  7. Out of interest. Sounds odd to some but he doesn't use a pc. He has it insured for 7k but I guess they only pay market value anyway.

  8. You can get agreed value insurance I think.

  9. 310 1994 ones were produced evidently :)

310 SP1s were produced in 1994. 1995 saw the production of the SP2, which was largely unchanged - some sources claimed the expensive titanium con rods were dropped in favour of steel items, but this wasn’t universal. Another 401 examples were built. 1996 was the final year, with 497 SP3s rolling off the line. Thus the SPs are considerably rarer than the already scarce 916. Approximately one out of ten 916s produced between 94-96 was a SP.
