As some of you might know, I've been thinking of selling my Foggy Rep for some time, finally made the decision to part with it, it's been a tough decision, but I want to do some track days & I've always wanted a Ducati Streetfighter too. Bike is number "78", I'm the only owner, registered August "98", 7300 miles, just back for JHP having had a full service, including belts & all fluids replaced. The bike hasn't got a current MOT, but I could arrange that. Comes with all the original goodies, ie, plaque (signed by Foggy), stand, key ring, standard exhaust, chip, seat & cover, although over the years the cover has disintegrated (I've got a Ducati Performance Superbike cover on it). Standard bike with a genuine DP carbon rear hugger & a genuine Ducati Datatool alarm. It's in mint condition, having not wanted for anything over the years. Not been used for a number of years, but it's been stored in a "bike bubble". The guys at JHP always comment on my bikes being "better than new" & if you know me, you know how fussy I am, trust me, you won't find a cleaner bike, it's never seen water in 19 years. If you want a non-biased description of the bike, just call JHP & ask John Hackett, Rick Hackett or John Burrows, I'm sure they'd give you the low down. I'll post photos ASAP, can't at the moment due to my phone being damaged, but will up-load some before the weekend. I'm not going to advertise a price as I don't want all the "it's not worth that much" etc, but it's a considerable amount cheaper than the one that The Bike Specialist has just advertised (£36k)!! If anyone is interested, please message me & I'll happily discuss the price & answer any questions. Thanks, Steve.
You can't really reference the bike specialists when talking real values But I have an SFS as you know already, with 1984 miles that would be a nice PX the bike specialist would be asking £25k for it I will have to sleep on it though.
Guys I have seen this bike in the flesh and it truly is mint, its even mint by my high standards. Really is a good one!! Good luck selling it Steve.
Well I guess low mile, original and A1 standard sps seem to be listed for 13-16k in the main so 16-20 would be my guess. As much as I’d like to say 10k
May be worth seeing what that sheffield over-priced emporium would offer on commission basis, as that is easily top end showroom stuff by the look (and sound) of it Get the most you can...they seem to have a specialist client base given what they appear to sell for. Good luck
Here's some more pictures now that it's home. As some of you might know, when I was using it I added some extras to make it a better bike, but everyone told me that it would only sell in standard spec, so it's now back to totally standard.
