Nope, still for sale as the winning bidder 'Tomducatiuk' who is Tom Vaughan, never showed up yesterday as agreed to collect it. And I even managed to get an MOT on it last week as he requested. I don't mind if he changed his mind, but not even the curtesy to call, email or even text to say he isn't coming, and waste my afternoon waiting in for him. Seemed a decent guy as well. Will relist with £20k reserve if a couple other leads don't come off.
Thanks for your comments. If you think it looks good in the pictures, it looks a whole lot better in the metal. Well imho anyway. Going back on eBay again soon by the looks of things.
Why don't you talk to the Sheffield dealer who has lots of high end stock, it might be a good place to sell on commission or he might make you an offer?
I spent 2 days looking at this bike and i can honestly say it is a total work of art,its condition is concourse with trick bits on top of trick bits, some of them i have no idea what they are or what they do,worth every penny of a 20k plus.
Maybe he's took ill, a friend sold a bike years ago , the buyer paid him full cash in hand and told him he would be back to collect and never turned up. He recons the buyer died or was killed and held the bike for a few years . Anyhows yours is stunning, I drooled over the pb write up for months. Good luck with new sale.
