Hi, Looking to try a pair of alternative mirrors on the SP (Rizoma copy) but before I set about screwing it up, anyone know whether the threads are the regular fit or being Ducati, is some special super expensive dealer only thread adapter that takes 19 years to make, with a 9 hour fitting time, required? The mirrors themselves are not threaded the nut under the rubber clamps the stem in place - the one side is reverse thread.
Replaced mine with some Bar ends can't be happier. The right hand side one (on the sense of riding) is reverse threaded, so if you plan to mount and either the mirror have thread or adaptors, you will need a left winding 10mm thread. Initially had a pair of Barracuda both being right then I could not mount because that right hand side mirror. Bought adaptors so a left with an inner right. What a nightmare... not easy to find.
