Hi all How does a 939sp compare to a SF S Power delivery Agility Desirability Hoon factor I have a 2017 939 but have an itch to scratch but is going for an 8 year older bike an unwise move
Always look at the long term myself...i dont change bikes that often....and it depends on the person that you are (do you own maintenance or just let someone else do it) New stuff: Gonna be more electronic so the need for a garage will be essential... Old stuff: You could possibly look after yourself - way cheaper in the long run....one of my bikes has seen a garage in 8 years for a valve check...everything else i do myself... Having said that i regularly buy tools so some could say that offsets the visits for servicing....but - i find looking after my own stuff therapeutic...
I change every 18 months to 2 years. Don’t do huge mileage but always prefer lower mileage bikes. I have the RRV as a dedicated track bike and can’t see myself parting with that one as it does everything I need. Road wise I don’t commute, have done the last 2 forum trips. The hyper was the first non sports bike I’ve owned and it’s refreshing to ride something different.
1098 will make your sp feel like a 600 monster for power and torque but will likely feel like a barge on twisty roads in comparison
