Fitting locks to new panniers The locks dropped into the slots with the key inserted and work as expected - they don't lift back out when the key is removed. The cases lock / unlock. Looking at the fitting manual there are instructions showing the inside of the case catch/lock mechanism being removed. Q? Are the locks just dropped into place or do I have to dismantle the inside of the case and engage them into the tab mechanism? Thanks!
Mine just dropped in as far as I remember. I transferred that panniers from another multi and I only dismantled then to remove the old locks
That's interesting thanks. Appears that the locks drop in before use (very quick), then if they need to be removed the lid is dismantled (slow).
