959 959 Oil Level

Just so I know I’m not going mad can someone confirm that the oil level should be checked when the bike is warm and upright (I.e. not on the side stand)? What if anything is too much oil going to do?

 

Thanks for that. How did you syphon some oil out? Mine is def overfilled.
