Looking to book on mallory on Wednesday but it's 98db. Now I've got gpr cans on my sf1098 with baffles which are not mega loud but still fruity. How loud is 98db. Anybody got passed noise testing on a 1098 with pipes on?
98db is not that loud, I did Mallory in August and got through on 95db but I had to get my DB killers modified to get it down to the lower figure. This was on a 748R If you are all concerned you won't be under then use this guy MHP Exhausts he is a whiz at exhaust work and used by many club racers.
He makes some nice baffles. But miles away from me unfortunately. Im only 20mins from mallory. Need to find a noise tester today I think.
Go to the track and see if they will check it for you, when I was there there was a bike trackday the day before mine and I could have had mine checked but felt confident that it would be fine after having my DB killers modified to become fully adjustable.
