I am looking for a 996 engine (superbike cases). Don't need throttle bodies, but wiring would be a plus. Do you have one for sale. Defect is also interesting.
@Pavey has a s4rs motor which is essentially the same, isn't it? Looks great value at the price wanted
Unfortunately they aren't the same. The cylinder heads and cases are different. Edit: and that motor is too new, I am looking for one that can be used in Classic Superbike.
I have a complete engine with knackered crank bearings. All cases and covers are present but alt cover cracked. I sold the throttle. O does some time ago, but still have the electrics and looms. 07447 649775. Dave Ps was foinf to keep the gearbox shafts as the hollow ones on my 1098 are supposed to bend, but everything is for sale at the right price.!!
