For Sale 996 Bitsa - Maybe For Sale

    Basic info
    1998 916 import with 996 SPS pistons and heads, P8 ecu/twin injectors, FIM chip
    124rwbhp/75ftlbs
    (Originally built by Redtec in Wolverhampton. Engine built by JHP)
    Bucci slipper clutch
    Polished 50 mm full system. Not sure of make, possibly SIL Motor.
    DP style rearsets
    Polished mono subframe
    Some carbon -undertray/hugger/airtubes/exhaust guard
    P4 calipers/HEL individual lines/Brembo HPK fully floating discs
    Ohlins steering damper
    Fake Ohlins forks (not my doing, like that when I got it!)
    Real Ohlins shock
    STM q/r sprocket with 520 chain
    Magnesium wheels (Marchesini rear, Dymag front)
    No standard bodywork - fibreglass as shown but good quality. Mono seat with suede pad.
    Full MOT
    16k miles
    Belts/oil/filter/plugs about 1000miles ago.
    Not used for a year or so but kept in a dry garage.
    I have had it since 2004.
    Has been in the gravel at Clearways.

    Not sure of value but won't sell for wotsits etc.

  2. Hmmm, where abouts is it in Uk? If anywhere west of London i'd be keen to take a look when I'm over in a couple of weeks. Would you mind if I broke it up and pinched all the good bits for my track bikes (just being honest), or would you prefer to sell it to someone who would keep it in one piece?

  7. @Chris : correction, you mean "ex-track" tool.....

    Has not been near a track since July 2009, been living a quiet life in a sleepy green pasture, being fed the best quality carrots, oats and hay...

  18. I was thinking around the £5k mark...seeing as I'm not desperate to sell but if somebody is interested then that sort of price would sway me.
