Hola a todos, estoy pensando en instalar un "respiradero de cárter de carbono" ubicado debajo del asiento. La moto es de 996 sps, y tengo varias dudas. 1, he localizado la pieza de CM Composites y también de MS Production, hay alguna diferencia? ¿Preferencias entre una marca y otra? 2, el distribuidor de MS Production tiene 2 versiones con diferentes tamaños en el compartimento superior, me dice que en la altura inferior le caben 996 sps pero no me da más información, alguien lo tiene instalado y puede mostrar una foto? Cualquier información que me puedan dar sobre este tema será bienvenida, solo llevo 2 meses con esta moto y tengo mucho que aprender. Muchísimas gracias
Never seen a crankcase breather in carbon? The aftermarket ones are normally aluminium. Unless you’re referring to the catch tank under the seat?

MS Production made a lot of Ducati Performance branded carbon fibre parts for these bikes so that would be my choice.

Pepe, give me a shout if you need help locating the airbox Reed valve or crankcase breather as I might still have one and if not, I can get them pretty easily.
I've one as well on the 916, it was repaired in recent times by @Sev as i'd a road incident with the bike having a hissy fit thinking it was Welsh dragon.
bettes from what I have been able to read, I will need the valve 59310192A, and yes, it seems quite difficult to find it, is that what you mean? I see you use another control unit, would there be enough space available using the oem control unit? Thanks a lot
I’ll have to do some thinking, Pepe. The crankcase breather would have no Reed valve inside and the Reed valve in the airbox is the same as the crankcase breather just split in half.
And it was a 998s so no ecu in the rear subframe. The controller you can see in the photo is just for the Techtronics quickshifter
ok i think i'm ready to order that nice piece of carbon. I will also be using an STM crankcase breather, just have to fix the valve problem. Thank you all very much for your advice, as soon as I receive the pieces I will post the photos here. a greeting

My understanding about MS Production carbon parts is that Desmopassioni are now officially distributing them with the MS sticker. They actually deliver the parts with a « certificate of authenticity ». There must have been copies sold around. Check here for their eBay store: https://www.ebay.fr/str/desmopassioni I bought a rear mudguard for my 916 SP3 from them. They are my go to place for MS carbon parts without hesitation.
Yep, my mistake, I edited my post above. No idea about CM/Speed Carbon. But someone will now, for sure.
Not sure if that's 100% accurate but Speed Carbon definitely has the old CM Composit molds for their carbon parts.
