  1. Hi all!
Just a bit of advice. I have come across a 996 SPS for sale (due to divorce) with only 3500 miles at only £4100!! Says it has been pretty much unused over the last 5 years and it looks genuine on the face of it. Dont know why it's so cheap though. Is there any way of checking the serial number of it with Ducati to verify if it is genuine?
I know they say if something is too good to be true,it usually is but you never know!

    Thanks for your advice!

  3. I believe that Ducati will confirm if it is an SPS if you give them the chassis number etc.

  6. If it sounds too good to be true, it generally isn't. Ducati Italy usually respond very quickly to requests to confirm a frame or engine number. I don't have a contact to hand but I am sure someone will provide it soon. If I remember correctly there was a 996sps scam on eBay recently. Andy

  7. Could be that then, coz the bay of fleas is where I saw it.

  8. There you go then, I wouldn't even waste my time calling Ducati.
