Hi, On 996R, what was the original silencer constriction? I have seen most with CF, but the one on the link has Aluminium. https://www.rx-motors.com/used-ducati-996-r-doncaster-south-yorkshire-3895391 Import? Options
pretty sure I know the answer but hazy memory, someone is bound to be along soon but meanwhile:- https://riders.drivemag.com/news/forgotten-new-ducati-996-r-found-abandoned-in-the-factory-box/ frustrating that rear exhaust obscured.
I did wonder if they came equipped with "road and race" set-up. CF & ECU as race upgrade, but alu pipes and base ECU to get past regulations.
The Termignoni 50mm carbon 'not for road use' exhaust + ecu was in the catalogue and you could specify it at the time of purchase. The standard exhaust is aluminium. If you need a part number for the carbon 50mm end cans, I'm pretty sure I have an original box in the loft. Andy
Andy to save you the bother Alloy ones were, RH 57310511A and LH 57410511A CF ones were RH 57310631A and LH 57410631A Same part numbers used on the 998R
