996 996s Monoposto Trim Colour (silver?)

  1. What is the oem colour for the coloured trim/stickers on a 2001 996s monoposto unit? I've seen gold, bronze and silver on bikes. I was thinking silver for mine to match the frame/wheels? Anyone got/painted one with silver edging?

  3. He means the pin stripes. IIRC, silver frames had the silver pin stripes. But the 996R has gold for some reason…

  4. Yes, thats what I meant (the pin stripes) thanks. The done thing seems to be to go with gold when retrofitting or respraying, but I'm leaning towards the silver (with my silver frame and wheels).

  5. I reckon silver looks miles better be it with a gold or silver frame. IMO
