  1. Hi all, question did both the 996SPS and the 748R originally come with that rubbish little paddock stand when purchased new as per the pic?

  2. I can confirm that is the stand that came with the 748R but it certainly isn't rubbish. It does the job and it was free :upyeah: Andy

  3. Even the later 748R or just the early one ?

  4. Mine is one of the first full Ohlins models, late 2001. I have no idea if the earlier Showa forks model came with a stand or not. Sorry. Andy

  5. My ‘01 748R came with that stand, rock solid when in use too :D

  6. Also was available as a Ducati Performance branded item in black. Solid stand and gives a very easy one man operation, far better than most I've seen on the market

  8. The good bit with this stand is that it doesn't have a handle out the back that can take up room in a tight garage as Roadtrip said

  13. I think those stands came with the bike because they were used for transport to the dealer. I also have the Harris performance rear stand and that has a removeable handle to make it shorter for transporting the bike.

  14. Also came with 1998 748SPS.

  15. It would be interesting to see who still has their stands garaged.?
