Selling a rare large volume carbon airbox (similar to the EVR one), which has been used on a 998 track bike that had an engine conversion to the later 1098 engine and throttle bodies. There's no indication of which company made the airbox but it's clearly very high quality. The inlet manifold holes are shaped to fit 848/1098 throttle bodies. There is a very trick integrated carbon coolant overflow tank moulded into the underside of the main chamber of the airbox so that it sits between the cylinder heads. The airbox has removable internal air filters, and comes with a pair of very rare genuine MS Production large volume (RS-type) carbon airtubes. This would be a perfect kit for anyone looking to do a 998 chassis /1098 engine conversion and get maximum air intake. £1250 plus shipping.
I am currently rebuilding a 1098 engine to fit to my 998 track bike and have been looking for a cf airbox or using the combination of 1098/748R boxes plus a bit of cut and shut which I have already to hand. The parts you are selling are appealing as would save me time. Are you selling any other parts to support conversion?
