Seeing as we havent had much hot weather this summer and I dont ride the bike in or near towns or cities, in traffic the fans rarely if ever kick in. Temperatures are fine. Now the question is this. From what I can see on the wiring diagram the fans are switched seperately and controlled from the ECU. The other day one came on, but not the other, does this sound right and would the second one only work if the temp got above a certain level?
I've just had exactly this on my 749. After a bit of digging. 101 degrees for the left hand fan, 102 for the right. in some manual somewhere apparently but who reads those ;-)
