Started the bike up last week after a couple of months sat in the cold....needed a charge first, checked her the next day and she was low again. Ordered up a new battery and popped her on earlier and now she spins over as quick as she ever did but didnt fire. Didnt take long to notice the pumps not cutting in with the ignition. Just wanted to check there is nothing stupid i could have disturbed to cause this. Im guessing its stood low on fuel prob sucked all the gunk in where it was low then ive left it for a week and its jammed up maybe. Just wanted to check no ones gonna say you've done this or nudged that before i pop the pump out and try clean/free it up. Theres a click when i turn the key which i guess is the relay.... Cheers for any help! Paul
Check the two small black relays down next to the battery, one of these energises the pump and they are a known weak point, only cheap - even from a dealer and worth keeping a couple under the seat when your out and about.
