  1. So I have got these mirrors off ebay. ( Impulse buy after a few vinos )
Mirror Set Red with LED turn signals for Ducati 996 998 Years 1994-2003

Came today, they are from a german company. They are great quality. Any of you guys fitted them?
Are they UK leagle? They seem to be an impromment over the OEM botch up

    Cheers guys...roll on summer

  2. They do look pretty good from the pictures, have you got a link? What didn’t you like about the originals?

    • Thanks Thanks x 1
  3. Don't see why they wouldn't be legal.

You may need to add resistors to sort the flash rate.

  4. I had a 999 and the indicators in the mirrors was always a pain when taking off the fairing. Having said that I know lots of guys don't like the standard indicators but I like them.

    • Agree Agree x 1
  5. I have just put these exact mirrors on my 2000 996s. Look great, work well, not particularly bright during the day though to be fair.

  6. How did you run the wires? I havnt got round to fitting them yet, I take it you had to drill a hole through the mirror mount and fairing? Any chance of a Picture?
Did you leave the original indicators on?

  7. Never thought of indicators are " out of place" until I saw your post. Had to go in the garage to have a look and yes they look very weird sitting just above the side fairings.
Hopefully I'll forget until tmw. evening...don't really intend to spend time re-wiring.

  8. I have some on my 996 . My bikes pearl white so had to go for the carbon look , as carbon tubes don’t have the mirror mounts and wasn’t happy with any other indicator location options,, all in all great but fiddly trying to hide the wires and keep things neat

  9. I would re-route the indicator wire from the intake tube to under the fairing and then you will need to drill a third hole in the top fairing for the wire. Don't touch the fairing stay as the wire can run down inside the fairing. I would also put a connector here somewhere so that you can take off the mirror without having to cut cable ties and muck around too much.

  10. When i installed mine, I merely drilled the first mounting hole for the mirrors very slightly so the wires fitted down one side. Then ran the wires behind the fairing bracket and into the back of the headlight into the loom. Really nice looking mirrors and yes tidied up the unusual originals position.

  11. received_2186863128193583.jpeg looks way better without the stock indicators on I reckon.
