I've just picked up a 998s Bostrom & need some feedback about average fuel tank range... Riding it back (A roads & motorways) I was getting well over 120 miles before the fuel warning light came on, I wasn't really paying too much attention; it may even have been in the 140-150 mile region before I filled up, but it was noticeably longer than the 80-90 miles I get out of a tankful on my 1098s or 100 miles on my 749r with the larger fuel tank. Is the 998s really that more fuel efficient? (All 3 bikes have full race termi system so exhaust are as similar as possible)
I have a 998s Final Edition and never manage to more than 90 to 100 miles before I need fuel urgently, I like you also own a 1098s and a 999s and to be honest their fuel range is all fairly similar that is the one issue with Ducati bikes a rubbish fuel range.
