998s Price Range

Hi Dave. I paid £8,000 4 months ago for mine. Just under 15,000 miles and in decent nick.
But I did have to fit new tires, chain & sprockets, clutch plates and then a full service. I got it from a bit of a back street dealer job and would have expected to pay maybe £9,000 for a similar bike from a reputable showroom. Might be miles off but hope this helps...

Mines an 2002 model Monoposto (I've also got the Biposto seat/handers), full termis/ECU (with original), immaculate with Farkles and original bits in a box.
It's insured for £10K and I wouldn't sell it for that (if you offered~its not for sale).
Sounds like I need to increase the cover?

Anyway...get a 998R if you can find 1 of the 700 produced.

I have a lovely 998 with S Spec engine parts added from new (very low miles too), been thinking of selling but still unsure. It's dripping in spangly bits with all standard parts so was going to put it back to standard to sell...

I bought my 998s a couple months ago, had a full service and warranty. It has a fully Termi system...
I'd agree with the prices quoted and I too would not sell mine for 10k either because I want to keep it.

 

Surely the 998fe on eBay is a good bet at £9k. ?

 

If I were still looking, that one there would probably be near the top of my list.

 

Still struggling to decide weather to part with it - need to find a 998R
I might sell a couple of bikes to fund and then sell the 998, so until it is for sale then no price available
It has rare magnesium wheels and a full race termi, slipper clutch, full carbon bodywork, S spec internals. Probably needs to go back to standard to sell - the original fairing is bubble wrapped from new and I have a new carbon single seat to go with what's on the bike.

 

They are supposed to be yellow :Hilarious:

 

998R's should be red
