Hi experts... looking to get a track day fairing for mine (2005, black swing arm). More choice and cheaper earlier model fairings. Do the earlier model fairings fit? Much hacking about? I can see they are two halves with a belly pan, whereas 2005 is two halves join at the bottom. What about the cockpit section - four scoops as opposed to two, but does everything else line up? Seat units too? Same sub frames or not? Any thoughts welcome ta
I brought some track fairings from China, sam's room, and the fit no problems. However they came damaged and they immediately offered a £40 refund so i could repair them and i said no as it would not of covered the cost, then after stalling and stalling offered £80 which i accepted but it never showed. They delayed the response from the first complaint and I ran out of time even to leave a negative feedback or complain to ebay, my fault really, i trusted them and thought they would do what they promised. However there are loads on ebay, I paid about £350 including the delivery and then repaired the farings myself
In a word.........no. They'll catch on your swing arm and the later spec nose cones are wider so that wont fit either.
