999 Metzelers

  1. Well after reading some reviews I'm going for a pair of M7RRs on the 999. I know if it ain't broke don't fix it, but I've been on Michelin's for 2yrs and thought why not...least sensible reason so far for a change?

Anyone on the Metzelers and what are your views? Kept the 190 profile too.

Just to add, had 6000 miles on the Michelin's and got a fright yesterday after a 250mile run to see how far down they now are.

  2. I have the M7RR's on mine and 190 too, they are on BST carbon wheels, I haven't ridden it enough to give a proper review on them yet but will let you know.

  3. Got them on my Multistrada 1200 and like them a lot. IMO better than OE and Angels. Not done enough miles to have an opinion on wear but ridden them in wet, damp and dry and have confidence in them. Andy

  4. I like M7RRs on my 999S.

They give great confidence in cold and wet conditions and they only once made me feel uncomfortable when doing some fun hooning - turned out the pressures were a couple of psi low, front and back. Can't really fault them, as long as the pressures are right and I'll have a real dilemma in a couple thousand miles time when it is time to replace them - M7RRs or back to my beloved Dunlop Sportsmart 2's?

Whichever is the cheaper will be the answer :D
