Hi all Im now the proud owner of a 999s and have a question. I have tried google and Also search but cant quite find the answer i need. I have a 999s with the biposto subframe. I have the genuine ducati monoposto conversion cowl on so its single seat only. I have the chance of a mono subframe. Will my biposto front seat bolt Upto the mono subframe with the 2 securing bolts line up. Or is the monoposto front seat a different size/firment. Thanks all
With a monoposto tail you bolt your existing seat ( the black bit) to the tail then fit it to the mono subframe . I don't think the whole biposto seat and tail unit fill fit onto the mono subframe and it's not strong enough any way.
No. I dont want to fit the biposto pillion rear seat to the mono subframe. I want to transfer the monoposto tail and biposto front seat onto the mono subframe. The only question really. Is will the front seat fit both subframes
I think my tail will fit as at the front it utilises the 2 front seat location allen bolts. And the rear uses an adjustable bracket. My concern was if the genuine mono / biposto had different front seats - hence different bolt points
