I have a 2003 which I have started as a street fighter project, can anyone offer some advice? I want to remove the clip ons and put sitting up bars on, I was told the streetfighter triple clamp was a direct replacement so there I go straight to ebay gets myself a triple clamp from the states, it arrived yesterday and ............ It didn't fit by a mile. The top yoke is catching on the bar bolts and tank. I'm sure I am not doing anything that hasn't been done before, I cannot find anywhere that stocks them cnc's them any advice? It's a dam shame because the streetfighter clamp is a work of art!

At the moment there's not much to see other than a bike with no panels or forks, I would like it to look something like the bike above which I tragically sit and stare at most days. I am keeping the std tank and I'm not having a belly pan but it depends which exhaust I go with.
